ABRAXAS Recording Debut Album

ABRAXAS, the new death metal band featuring Makoto Mizoguchi (PYREXIA, INTERNAL SUFFERING, HATE ETERNAL) on guitar and bass, Mike Hrubovcak (MONSTROSITY, VILE, DIVINE RAPTURE, I.C.E., AZURE EMOTE) on vocals and Lance Wright (VILE, QUINTA ESSENTIA, TEMPLE OF BLOOD) on drums, is in the studio recording its debut album, "Damnation", due later in the year.

ABRAXAS released its debut four-song EP, "Wretched Existence", on December 15, 2009 via Relapse Records. The effort was also made available as a T-shirt bundle, featuring the amazing artwork of Drew Elliott (NECROPHAGIA, GOREAPHOBIA, AMORPHIS).

Three tracks from the EP — "Eternally Erased", "A Species Untrue" and "Folding For Our Demise" — are available for streaming on the official ABRAXASMySpace page.
